On May 25, only weeks after two small planes breached the no-fly zone over the nation's capital, TSA lifted the ban on GA at Ronald Reagan National Airport that had been in place since 9/11. Counterterror authorities blasted TSA's action as an appeasement of vested political and commercial interests.
