The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) is responsible for covering the second largest metropolitan area in the nation with over 3,500 firefighters embedded in 106 stations throughout the city. The LAFD responds to a call every 35 seconds, making it one of the busiest in the nation. Despite the breadth and scope of what the department covers, the LAFD often has needs that the city’s budget cannot cover.

The WWP mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound, co-incident to your military service on or after September 11, 2001. You may also be eligible for the program if you are the family member or caregiver of a Wounded Warrior.
The Warrior Dog Foundation transitions our country’s working K9s from an operational environment into retirement. Providing mental and physical rehabilitation, and rehoming options to Military Working Dogs (MWD), Contract Working Dogs (CWD) and Law Enforcement K9s that otherwise would be euthanized.
The CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation is organized exclusively to engage in lawful, charitable, and educational activities supporting the families of firefighters and other fire suppression personnel in times of financial need or hardship. The Foundation also assists burn victims and their families and supports research on hazards and exposures unique to fire fighting.
Founded more than a century ago and managed by the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association, the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firefighter’s Fund is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to helping the families of LAFD firefighters facing a serious crisis, such as being injured or killed in the line of duty.

Vet to Vet is a consumer/provider partnership program that utilizes veterans in recovery in a peer-counseling capacity to help other veterans. Vet to Vet is administered by veterans who themselves have been consumers of VA mental-health services. Final Salute Inc. was founded in 2010 by a woman Veteran and cancer survivor who became aware of the large number of homeless women Veterans in the United States.
She realized a need for an organization that was designed to meet and understand the unique needs of homeless women Veterans and their children.
There are no longer front lines in war, however, female Veterans feel they are put at the end of line when seeking housing and other supportive services.
Over 2,000,000 women have served with honor since the Revolutionary War.
They have fulfilled thier obligations to their country; we now need to support them during their time of need.

The Wills for Heroes (WFH) program was started in Columbia, South Carolina after 9/11 and is designed to assist emergency personnel in preparing Wills to protect themselves and their families. Launched in Minnesota in 2007 by the MSBA Probate and Trust Section, the Minnesota program is now part of the Amicus Society of the Minnesota State Bar Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and is one of 27 programs nationwide.

Arizona Search Dogs primary goal is to provide canine search capabilities for AZTF1 (Arizona Task Force One) and to assist local jurisdictions at a state and local level. Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) involves the location, rescue (extrication), and initial medical stabilization of victims trapped in confined spaces. Structural collapse is most often the cause of victims being unable to escape, but victims may also be trapped in transportation accidents, mines, collapsed trenches and most recently in their own homes and businesses secondary to a hurricane. Urban Search and Rescue is considered a “multi-hazard” discipline, as it may be needed for a variety of emergencies or disasters, including earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons, storms and tornadoes, floods, dam failures, technological accidents, terrorist activities, and hazardous materials releases.
“100 SALUTES”– The Peace Keepers ensure that Law Enforcement Officers lost in the line of duty in Kansas and Missouri are not forgotten. We do so through our own “100 Slautes” program. “100 Salutes” is a mission where every time a Law Enforcement Officer dies in the line of duty, a remembrance box with 100 ribbons with the Officer’s Badge Number on one tail of the ribbon and the motto, “Never Forgotten”, is given to the spouse, child or parents of the fallen Officer. Additional ribbons are distributed to the friends, co-workers & the community of the fallen Officer’s Police Department. These are passed out at the visitation and funeral of the fallen Officer. They are also given during Police Week, Police Memorial services and remembrance events. We continue to be available to the families of the fallen by assisting them in any way we can…from mowing lawns to cleaning houses to fundraising,
“GIVING VETERANS A MILLION THANKS”- The Peace Keepers ensure that Military Veterans, fallen and living, are remembered by the public. Presently we are partnered with the Greater Kansas City “Wreaths Across America” program. We are conducting fund raising activites to ensure that as many wreaths as possible are placed on the grave of Veterans at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. We were “on the ground” in 2018 placing wreaths and actively participating in the ceremonies. Civitan International President-Elect Frank Kelley and his wife Kum, members of the Peace Keepers, participated in the 2019 Wreaths Recycling Effort.
“SUPPORTING THE CIVITAN INTERNATIONAL MISSION”- The Peace Keepers support the mission of Civitan International in aiding the developmentally disabled communities. Several of the Peace Keepers are also members of the Kansas City Civitan Orchids and the Kansas City Civitan Ex-Men which are Civitan Clubs which directly interacts with the developmentally disabled. The Peace Keepers are always prepared to come to the aid of these, our brother and sister clubs, when called. We also help with the many activities of our Regional and International clubs supporting the charitable goals they have. Though our focus is Veterans and the Law Enforcement community, the Peace Keepers are ready to serve our community in many ways.
Founded in 1985, originally as part of the Presbytery of Philadelphia, Chester Eastside Ministries faithfully served the community of Chester at the Third Presbyterian Church until 2012. When the aging facility required a move, we were grateful to be invited to the historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on 9th St. Since then, the relationship between St. Paul’s and CE has blossomed and deepened. In 2014, CE changed the nature of its relationship with the Presbytery, striking out on its own by incorporating as a not-for-profit 501c (3) organization. Having successfully navigated this transition, now Chester Eastside, Inc. is eager to grow its services to the community. At the core of the organization is a food service program that provides over 100,000 meals a year to community residents. In addition, we offer various educational programming to adults and children. We are thrilled to have recently inaugurated the Judy Coslett Learning Center, which provides a safe and stimulating space for our growing afterschool program. We are proud of the long history, and even more excited about the burgeoning potential of the constantly evolving environment that is Chester Eastside.
The City Gate was formally incorporated on April 26, 1988 as the result of several pastors from local churches banding together to create a church specifically for Spokane’s inner-city dwellers. The first location was on First Avenue across from the old bus station. Our second location was at the Otis Hotel. Both were “store front” operations with very small kitchens. It was recognized very early on that social needs were present in this population as well as spiritual needs, and so food and clothing banks were set up.

Our goal and mission is to donate a practical, mission ready vest to as many Police K-9’s as possible. We want the K-9’s who protect communities across the United States to be protected themselves during their entire shift and not just when time permits to put the vest on the dog. We have partnered with LOF Defence to donate their Streetfighter vest because it is the best option on the market to meet our goals.
In this time of crisis, Project C.U.R.E. is making our resources available to the hospitals and first responders in our C.U.R.E. Communities of Denver, Nashville, Phoenix, Houston, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Chicago. We are donating all of our masks, gloves, PPE’s and other items needed to fight the COVID-19 to these heroes. One hundred percent of the items that individuals and companies give to the local fight against COVID-19 will be given to the brave men and women on the front lines of this fight, in our communities here in the U.S. We look forward to the day when this is over and this struggle is a memory. Until then, Project C.U.R.E. will continue to change our world. Right now, our world is right next door.

The National Child Protection Task Force, a registered 501c3, was founded to provide law enforcement access to investigative expertise and resources that are unavailable or under-funded in most law enforcement organizations. The members of our Task Force volunteer their time to any agency — small or large, international or local — on important, time-sensitive cases involving not only human trafficking, child exploitation, and missing persons cases, but also property, homicide, drugs, and terrorism cases.

he Missouri Law Enforcement Funeral Assistance Team was founded as a resource to assist departments and families upon the death of an Officer. The primary focus is on line of duty deaths, but the Team will also assist with funerals for retired Officers and for active duty Officers who pass away from non-duty related injury or illness. Our goal is to insure that fallen Officers are laid to rest with the highest level of dignity and honor.

The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
